Travel Planner Makes Flight Planning a Breeze

Believe it or not, air warriors who fly on their own corporate jets still face hassles. (Then again, there’s no hassle quite like having the three-year-old behind you in coach kick the back of your seat from O’Hare to LAX.)
To help Kellogg Company employees — who often travel between Battle Creek and Chicago using their own corporate jets — manage their flight schedules with ease, Source Nine built a dynamic and user-friendly web-based system. Via the company intranet, employees have the ability to view a calendar to check for flights, as well as carpools. Then they book themselves on the flight or join the carpool of their choice. See, we told you it was easy.
Based on their flight status and booking, end users receive reminder e-mails. If they get bumped from a flight, they are notified and linked back to the site for re-booking. Not only does this site lower staff time and overhead, it also increases convenience for both traveling personnel and the Kellogg Company as a whole. With three tiers of security, the system allows employees to manage and access all editing rights themselves, and is self-administrable on every level.
