As the largest rental car company in the world, Hertz has continually made history with a variety of "firsts," from the first rent-a-car airport location to the first club for frequent travelers to the first computerized driving directions to the first on-board navigation system. Today, with the expertise of Source Nine behind them, Hertz will soon launch another breakthrough innovation - an interactive and user-friendly thumb drive. (No, it's not a cooler way to hitchhike.)
By plugging the thumb drive into a computer, customers will access a special website (NeverLost.com) where they'll have the opportunity to download destinations, points of interest, trips and more. When they pick up their Hertz rental car, customers can then simply plug their thumb drive into the navigation system and everything will be set up automatically - no additional programming necessary. Along with pre-planning trips, the thumb drive will also allow users to download new destinations and points of interest while traveling.
So regardless of their itinerary, customers will have the ability to tackle the road with greater confidence.
